West Virginia is not necessarily the most culturally diverse place in the nation. No need to look around nervously, it's not. However, Charleston--the state capital--has become a hub of culture for the Wild and Wonderful. Still not as diverse as other major cities (New York, Atlanta, Chicago, etc) it still makes an effort to recognize and appreciate the diversity that it does contain.
These days, everyone is talking about the east end. They're talking, talking, talking about how cool it is, about how happening it is, how that's where young people need to live, about all the nightlife and music happening there.
