John Meadows- Contributor   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

John Meadows is getting ready to move to the Kanawha Valley once he gets his degree from Concord University. That degree, being a BA in Electronic Media and meaning nothing in the real world, leads him to wonder “What will I do in Charleston while I am here?”. Well that’s where Kanawha Valley Live comes into play! Along with helping him get out and know what is going on, it will also allow anyone to follow his adventures (from a distance hopefully) and hear his opinions about things going on. The plan for right now- live with his parents.   And tomorrow? The world!

Shep - Writer/Token Liberal   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Shep is one of the newest members to join Kanawha Valley Live. He is responsible for event articles as well as video articles on local events. When not slaving for the site... Shep spends most of his time on daddy-duty with his newborn daughter or slumming the local music scene on his free evenings. Shep's local interests have included singing in several local bands, multiple performances with the Charleston Light Opera Guild, creating special effects makeup for three local independent films, Aikido with USA Martial Arts in St. Albans, pottery, sculpting and painting as well as free-lance home computer maintenance. Shep sees himself as a true Renaissance man, while most others just see an insufferable know-it-all.

Dr. Tim- Resident Doctor/Writer

Les Nessman- Writer

Les is the fictitious news director of WKRP, in Cincinatti, Ohio.  Les was raised by his mother and stepfather (whom he thought was his biological father) in Dayton. He has been employed by WKRP since 1954, beginning as an office boy and cub reporter.  Les is a five-time winner of the fictitious Ohio radio news trophy, the "Buckeye Newshawk Award," the coveted "Silver Sow Award" (for excellence in farm news, particularly hog reports), and the "Copper Cob Award" (also for farm broadcasting).  Les' involvement with KV Live is in no way, shape or form the pseudonym of a very talented and respected member of the West Virginia legal community.  At all.
